Tom Maiorana
The Prototyping Systems Lab is led by Tom Maiorana. In addition to leading the lab, Tom is also an Assistant Professor in the Department of Design at University of California, Davis. Tom specializes in product design and development, design thinking, and prototyping. His research explores the ways which low-resolution prototypes can be used in service of systemic change. Tom has an MFA in design from Stanford University and a BA in American Culture from Vassar College.
