These engagements build upon my academic research on prototyping. Through workshops or consulting, we orient teams towards actionable learning. We start by grounding the team in a more of prototyping and then use that to unlocks the potential for prototypes to offer more learning in dramatically reduced timeframes. Teams work on a real issue and then use a structured approach that I've refined over years of teaching to make progress that will yield actual data. 

We design serious games to help organizations and communities address entrenched challenges in ways that are engaging, inclusive and insightful. We specialize in translating the complexity of multi-stakeholder issues into experiences that create more productive conversations and ways of seeing the issue in a new light. We work with corporations, municipalities and state-wide agencies.

Drawing has been a fundamental tool for the creative professions since the late 14th century. Yet it’s utility has often been associated with representation rather than what drawing does for our thinking. The workshop is tailored to all-levels and uses the process of simple visual communication tools to accelerate creative problem solving techniques. Participants move from tentative to confident with visual communication. They will learn how to quickly representing complex scenarios at a whiteboard. I cover techniques, cheats, and simple tips to help everyone use all of their thinking skills.
